Hi I'm Jada! I'm 14 and here's my entry for the Color of Loss monthly competition. Here's a link to my video of me explaining what I did and showing that its my work.

The coloring tool I used was an alcohol based marker set.

I used green for the female character's dress to show growth. I believe despite her being gone, she wants her lover to grow, and keep on living without her. I used dark browns and reds on the male character to show the grittiness of the surroundings and blood. Also, red is the universal symbol of love so I believed it fit. I made bluish pink yellow smoke in the background, I thought it kind of showed a sunset along with the thought of Smoke. I wrote at the bottom, "Colored by Jada Rowley".
