I like Magikarp :)

This isn’t a regional form, it’s simply just a second Magikarp form similar to Shellos’s forms.

it’s inspired by nothing, it’s just a silver Magikarp. (For context in the dex entry, Copper Skin Magikarps are normal Magikarps.)

Dex Entry:

Silver Skin Magikarps have stronger skin then their Copper counterparts. Because of this, they are able to pick up and launch small rocks with their tails. This form of Magikarp can only exist in the Northern Mythical Waters of Lakisori and despite the efforts of scientists, when brought to other lakes its skin will weaken and turn them into Copper Skin Magikarps unless preserved with water from the Northern Mythic Waters of Lakisori.

Magikarps in the Southern Mythical Waters are mostly Copper Skinned due to the weaker currents and Pokémon in them allowing for increased survival chances for the species in the region unlike their Silver Skin brethren who have adapted to harsh environments.
