The Clan of the Beasts believes that only the strongest should lead. And so Dagda was raised by his father, chief of the clan. Blessed with towering stature, Dagda quickly became the fierce warrior his father always dreamed of.
Still young, Dagda defeated his father in combat, becoming the new chief of the clan, inheriting the spirit of the Great Bear, which grants its form and powers only to the strongest warrior in the North. Hungry for greater battles, Dagda called the clansmen to a direct attack on their greatest enemy, the Republic. His father warned him of the danger of a direct attack, but Dagda quickly reminded his father that only the opinion of the strongest matters.
Thus came the destruction of the Clan of the Beasts, all warriors slain with the exception of Dagda, who was spared for some reason. Now alone and aware of the great danger that threatens the entire North, Dagda seeks the wisdom he spurned, allies who know how to build rather than destroy. Perhaps the goddess worshipers who claim to be able to see the future.
