So here is the first character in my original story. Alys is the priestess and last surviving member of the Brigdian clan, worshipers of Brígda, goddess of g'moch. G'moch is people's will to create and express themselves, by reading the g'moch it is possible to get an idea of people's future actions. Fearing this ability, the Brigdians were hunted down and nearly exterminated by the Republic, which banned all contact with gods and spirits.
