Claire from RE2, Styled more after the Remake2 version. Lots of challenges here. But that's how we improve. Challenging ourselves.

1. For whatever reason I had a HELL of a time getting this pose down using my photo reference.

2. The lighting was hard for me. After seeing it up for awhile I realized that the red light column should bleed more into the rest of Claires environment. I wanted it to be like a sharp light peaking through maybe a window or a door. I also played with the idea of a zombie silhouette in the light, but it was too hard D:

3.Guns are hard to draw! I still think mine came out too cartoony looking.

But dammit, I will say that I love how her smile came out. She looks very inviting. Like you wanna just go join her on that bed despite the apocalypse! 

This was worked on at the same time as the Dragons Crown Sorceress. I used raster lineart here, and I like it fine, but I do believe this is the last time I went that route for awhile.
