Language note: Oubliette is French. It is a type of dungeon only accessible through a hole in the top / ceiling. It is simply a dark place where things are put to be forgotten. What does it mean in the comic? While a general purpose can be summarized here, you will have to wait on a literal definition in the next chapter. In fact, there were a few things dropped here to spark curiosity.
