Cynthia is ready for bed. Though it seem she could use a friend or something more to accompany her. A very simple piece with a lot of little things to appreciate, the Garchomp plush, how the bed is a little messy and that look she gives. Not sure if this post considered an E or should be a T. Either way, you've captured her confidence which is on visual display through her eyes. Great work, what would you say was the most fun part to draw for this piece? I ask because it looked to have been made with some love.

Pokémon's best girl and champion looks beyond adorable

When it comes to RPG's, Pokémon is one of my favorite. The colorful, addictive gameplay and enchanting characters (from humans to, of course, Pokémon), make that (almost) all Pokémon games be a joy to play, building the best Pokémon team in order to become the best trainer and champion around.

Speaking of champions, the subject matter of this illustration, Cynthia, from Pokémon Pearl, Diamond and Platinum (as well as their remakes for Nintendo Switch), is one of my favorite characters (even if her boss battle is the most challenging... which makes sense, given her status as the champion). Her elegance, kindness and majestic demeanour (coupled with her characterization in the anime as an ice cream-loving, fun, wise and honorable lady), endeared Cynthia to me, and made her an iconic, beloved and cherished character. So, it's a pleasure to see a tribute as lovely and cute as this one for her.

My favorite thing about this illustration is Cynthia's expression and pose: while normally a calm and collected character, it's fun seeing Cynthia being more flirty. Her smile, blush and eye give off a cute, but almost teasing-like vibe to the picture. As if she were asking the viewer "Like what you see?", or "Do I look beautiful?". Another detail that I like from Cynthia's expression and pose is that, her blush nonstanding, she sure still emanates her confident attitude, almost as if she knows that her (admitedly lucky!) partner won't be able to resist her charms. Likewise, Cynthia holding her Garchomp plushie is such a cute sight, that that alone makes this illustration a must-see. Oh, and and I think that Cynthia wearing a black elegant, regal-like negligee definetly suits her character.

The coloring in this picture is also worthy of praise: the predominant use of a light purple gives the drawing a romantic, relaxing tone, while the use of black, as I already mentioned, definetly suits Cynthia and makes her stand out even more. No matter what, she surele knows how to be eye-catching, as always. And last but not least, the use of textures of Cynthia's pillow, bed-sheets, negligee and legs are also of high quality. It helps with the tone of the illustration, and implies that Cynthia is just waiting for her champion.

To conclude, this is one gorgeous piece of art, and one amazing tribute to one of the best Pokémon characters; let alone the best Pokégirl of all. Congratulations!
