Maestro Von Paragon is an assassin who comes from another world. First descending through an orange portal onto the world of Madness, MVP asserts his place in this new dimension and thus is called by the commotion of battle from afar. He has actually been lurking around in Newgrounds of last year and has made a grand entrance.

Though, he is not alone. A giant monstrous cosmic-horror monster named Rekuni is his symbiotic partner in this fight. Rekuni resides within Maestro and thus uses him as utility and accessibility. In the world of Newgrounds, Maestro vowed to find a place he can call home. And to make sure he feels right at it, he joins in the battle between legendary killers and mascots from across the portals.

Deep down, he yearns to be a part of the fun. There is no fun if he stands by and watches the chaos unfold.

CREATOR'S NOTE: Maestro Von Paragon was originally a character in this small series I work on called "Beyond Worlds". However, overtime, I've forgotten that he doesn't fit into the story of my series and so was given an exit that doesn't conflict with his characterization. He is stated to be an experiment created to become the ultimate killing machine. But in doing so, he turned on his creator and so left through a portal across many worlds. Rather than staying in his dimension, he wants to explore the infinite realities that will give him what he desires.

His initials may stand for his name. But it also stands for, "Malicious, Vicious, and Persistent". In his name, his name is meant to be taken seriously. He is based on Tricky from Madness Combat, who he takes his insane demeanor and lust for suffering. Rekuni is also largely inspired by Tricky's demonic form, minus the limbs and clown aesthetic. Rekuni's attacks are based on Convict's fighting style from the original NG Rumble.

The idea is that Maestro uses Rekuni for both defense and offense. A balance character who also has specials involve impaling his opponents, latching/climbing onto walls and ceilings, extensions for Maestro to use on his opponents. And with an ultimate move, Maestro summons Rekuni at its full potential and wreaks havoc upon the denizens of Newgrounds.

Finish Time: 3 - 4 hours

I firmly believe that he reeks of Newgrounds with his vibe. Having the edge and personality of other characters though very subtle. He wants everybody to be his enemies. And no matter how much he is put down; he keeps coming back up for another round. I'm a huge fan of Madness Combat. I grew up watching the series since I was nine or so. So, the creation of Maestro came from a lot of Madness' characters. He sees others like Hank J. Wimbleton and Jesus as worthy adversaries, hence he made his first descend Somewhere in Nevada...

This is my last submission for this contest! I'm glad to actually have gotten around to commit. Though this is 4 hours before the contest ending, I do hope I get see the fruits of labor pay off.
