I've been doing pixel art for fun since a kid playing with good old MS paint, but never shared it with anyone soo, here it is.
Can I participate in this year's pixel day despite still being un-scouted?
Well, this was done mostly in MS paint (the old version, not the new one) and tweaked a little in photoshop.
So, how is it? Do the colors work? Is the image interesting? Would you play a game with this artstyle?
I know the old lady should be smaller, but is there any other problem with proportions?
How can I improve overall?
If anyone would be kind to review this piece and share your thoughts I'd be thankful!
I like the sunset gradient, however I feel a lot of things clash, most notably the trees are very low detail compared to the ground. Also it seems the background in a lot more in focus than the actual objects. Would recommend adding more detail to the trees and lady in particular, as those seem to be important to the scene.
