Here to greet, love and spook you alike it's Velvanne the False Widow.

She now has an extra pair of arms out of her back. So she now has 8 of them in total. All the better to hug you with! And to spook too.

I haven't posted her here yet, so here's her essential, biographical info:

Here's Velvanne, a new gal of mine! She's a Noble False Widow spider.

Everyone thinks she's scary and deadly like a Black Widow, but she really isn't in the slightest. She's actually a massive sweetie that simply loves dangling from the ceiling and walls, and spending most of her time on her oversized web abode.

She assures people she isn't scary by claiming that she isn't a Black Widow and that she eats them.

Which generally doesn't exactly help in reassuring them. Would you like a monster that eats deadlier monsters?

She also has a slight mischievous side, by suddenly descending from the ceiling at a fast rate and going "BOO".
