So this is literally just a recreation of a funny face I did, as you can see below this is the original "toned green"

It got reduced down to through palette altering and sizing down.

But, I couldn't recapture this look at such a small scale, so that's how the "Funny Man" Sprite came to be. Me trying to recreate the "feel" of it. Looks nothing like me, but it's such a good look and captures that evil mischief that I wanted it to.

And then, I decided to make a sword for it when I remembered that Big Chungus shitpost I made.

Yes, literally in Unity I just slapped an image of Big Chungus with the Ultima Blade's "Edge Detector" Placeholder and made it spawn every frame as it moved (was making fun of the Calamity Mod's particle game objects spawning every second)

But that blade, I love that glitchy weird ass weapon, so I tried to remake it as sprite just to see if I could. (And this, is where the Funny Blade began)

Made a pretty solid recreation within a 40x 60 size, but it really inspired me to try and make an original blade for "The Funny Guy" the most.

So I ended up making this, but still felt it was too similar, and not original enough, so the final version of the Funny Blade came to be.

Behold, the corrupted bugged out piece of shit known as the Funny Blade. The perfect weapon for a guy like him. (If I ever made this thing attack, you bet your ass I'd also have the hitbox glitch out so attacking with timing is critical)

I love the way this one turned out. It feels really chaotic and intense right from the get go, and the glitched look complements it well.

And this is the Non corrupted version of it. Over designed to shit, but really captures the feel I was going for. Using the colours of the Funny Man himself. With a reverse shading of the darkness at the edge instead. And a giant abyss right in the center. Got this perfectly plant like feel to it. So all in all good.
