In 1490, seeking religious freedom members and the current Divergent (Order's version of the Pope) of The Order of the Final Communion set off from Portugal. 206 set sail on 8 ships.

They make a temporary stop on the relatively unknown island of Madagascar. They name the island Seguro.

A storm hits and they lose 3 ships. Their stay becomes permanent.

By 1500 Diogo Dias finds the island and the settlement. He was discussed by the settler's interbreeding with the natives and horrified by their heretical religion. Diogo would return to Manual the Fortunate (king of Portugal) who then told the Pope.

The Pope gave his agreement that they couldn't let them continue in their sinful ways.

The Order knew what Diogo's visit meant and began preparations to evacuate in case of emergency.

By the time the Portuguese attacked (1504), the settlers had a population of 679 and had built 9 ships that carried 78 people. The Portuguese only found ghost towns.

The Order would travel from coast to coast. Before getting caught in a storm and being stranded on the giant (and completely unknown to Europeans) island of Australia. They dubbed the island Perigo after Mortimer III (the at the time Divergent) and his only child was killed by a saltwater crocodile. His youngest sister and only living relative arose to the position and assumed the title of Senta VI.

By 1788 the Order had become the dominant force on the land mass. When the first convict fleet arrived the Order's Scholars used old texts from Europe to incite the convicts into mutiny.

In the coming years, the race of the people of Australia would be a mix of European, English, Malagasy, and Aboriginal. The order would expand into the surrounding islands and subsequently rename them. These islands are Volucres (New Zealand), Diablo (Tasmania), and Alta Terra (New Guinea).

The collection of unified islands would be known as the Federação da Ilha or the Island Federation. By 1903 English became the dominant language of the Federation. They would play a major role in the upcoming war.
