Well, here's some old art of mine, like early 2021 old. I almost never have the time to make art, so if I tried to remake this, nothing would change, hell it might look worse (I'm practicing by redrawing old art until I get to a point where I'm satisfied with a consistent result). It's a design I was working on for the protag/antag of a series I've been working on since 2016-ish called the Halcyon Project, or just Halcyon (like the bird).
I won't go into too much detail here, that's for a later post, but to make a long post short: it was supposed to be a series where I flipped a few anime tropes on their head (Parent being missing/dead/evil, instead having the parent be the main character, child being the villain, no big redemption arc, etc.) and ran with it. Instead, it went so far that a lot of the scrapped ideas I have for it might go towards other projects (one I'm really excited about).
Also, I know this art is trash, ya ain't gotta tell me twice. But if you know anything I can do to better my art (since I plan on making this a comic series, and the story itself is wrapped up already, so I just have to translate it to visuals), feel free to share any tips, programs, videos, books, etc. you think might help!
(I use Clip Studio Paint and a Wacom 1031X)
Thanks for taking the time to read this far!

(before nobody asks, yes, this is a heavily referenced Neco-Arc of myself)
