In honor of Kirby's 32 years of existence, I'm revealing yet ANOTHER concept that's been brewing in my head for a while now!

Yep, this isn't just a piece of fanart... some eager people out there have shared their concept for what a Kirby movie would look like, and this is more or less a poster attached to mine! Without giving too much away, it would deal with Kirby crashlanding onto Planet Popstar at the hands of the recently released Dark Matter, and honing in his skills to help protect the land and the friends he makes along the way!

I'm not sure if or when I'll have the energy to draw out everything I'm thinking, but I'd certainly like to know if it's something you'd like to see!

Speaking of Kirby fighting eldritch horrors, for his birthday, I offer a sentiment: playing Return to Dream Land Deluxe recently made me realize something. Yes, the overall lore to Kirby has gone quite nuts, and yes, he's at the point where he could easily slay a demigod... but there wouldn't be storybooks or stuff like this if that were all there was to it. Before all else, Kirby and the world around him is designed to simply be charming. Not even necessarily for kids, but so that anyone entering his world, be it through games or books (or to a much lesser extent the show), can feel like everything is welcoming, wholesome, and safe. No matter what insanity lies deep within, the cuteness and wholesomeness are always front and center stage.
