This was a challenge to see if I could make something with heavy usage of the infamous shape tool.
Speaking of challenge, it was quite challenging to get a round object to look good in 3D back in the day and not have it eat up a game's memory. A common trick used in Super Mario 64 to get circles to not look like ass was to make use of a technique called Billboarding. What is Billboarding you ask? It's where you substitute a 3D model for a flat texture, typically a sphere, that always faces the screen no matter the angle. Call it cheating if you want, but if it works, it works.

Yeah, it always felt strange how this was one of those enemies that just never stuck despite the many opportunities to implement them in.
