Their appears to be a large number of things going on in this picture! I really like the shading, it makes the shapes of the images look 3D in some places. I really like the texture, when it's there, in some places it is a bit lacking. The symbolism is very obvious.

Designed as the fictional 23th major arcane of Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot and entitled "XXIII. Duality", this painting originated from a pencil sketch.
The sketch was scanned, traced in Adobe Illustrator with specific attention to line quality, and then painted in Adobe Photoshop.
"XXIII. Duality" was an order placed by a friend and was meant to represent a depiction of her life up to this day. I achieved this through color, composition, lighting and symbolism.
This is really underrated considering how well drawn it is.
