I heard the news and decided I simply had to draw the magical girl I wanted to be SO BAD during my early teens. This series means a whole lot to me as it was my first anime and it had be start drawing way back then. It was a my little escape from my sucky teen years and is probably why I draw moe sparkles now.

I used to draw Ichigo ALL THE TIME, like on every little scrap piece of paper I could get my little hands on, I'd use it for doodles of Ichigo and many other catgirls. Hearing this was gonna get a new series made me a little teary-eyed I have to admit LMAO.

It's so nice to go back to a series that feels like home, especially one that was a happy, cute light in what was a shitty era of my life.

I'm so glad I embrace my love for cute things and art now as an adult, I owe Tokyo Mew Mew a whole lot. :,3
