this is concept art for my dumb little thing called Depainted. you jump into the buttons, it buys the item. needed to get the image in my head out before i forgot because it was such an improvement over my concept from years ago, pictured here:

the idea was you'd walk in, press the button with some interact key or something, and then lose control of the character and have to navigate the shop screen like a menu. after buying an item you'd back out of it and regain control of the character. and there's this little tube above the button where it'd spit the item out.

it was so much more complicated, and on top of that it looked like shit. it looks really bad. much happier with this new version
