Character Description

Amduxuel is a large, skeletal bat demon. He has grey-black and grey fur, with large leathery wings making up most of his size. He has prominent white fluff around his chest, and his arms only serve as his wings, ending in a single digit hooked at the tip of them. He has red eyes with black schlera and a long prehensile tongue. His spine and ribs are completely visible, and does not appear to hinder him at all. He has four large ears, two pointed up and two pointed sideways behind his skull. He has a hollowed out nose. He has a long, bony tail with a spiked rudder tip.

Personality

Abduxuel is not mean, but he's a bit grumpy. In the wild he often has to compete with other demons of all kinds, and this can lead to him being much less eager to see new people or creature's. He can be friendly once he opens up, and even outright nice, but often he is closed off emotionally and intimately. Succupups are such horny little bullies...

Background/History

Abduxuel is a dreamseeker. Sometimes spoken of as monsters, other times as saviors. They're large, bat-like demons that feed on thoughts and primarily dreams. The stronger the emotions and deeper the dream, the more nourishing it is. As a conceptual being, their anatomy is rather unusual, and they can survive and perform feats that should be impossible for their bodies and size. Since they feed on emotions both positive and negative, they can be influenced by them as well, and most find it far easier to feed off of nightmares they induce rather than trying to somehow seek out only good dreams or create them. Abduxual has been nicknamed by a few demons as screech, kept as a sort of pet, but left to wander on his own when he chooses. While not all grow enough to talk, most who do choose their own name, often gathered from the memories of dreams they ate. The longest lived ones can develop latent psionic powers, but can sometimes find it difficult to discern reality
