The Seers are an off-key place just on the very northern rim of the Kaptavassi mountains. Technically they are a part of Kaponvati, a nation north of those mountains, and passing the Seers is said to bring good luck. You usually do not, and should not, go straight through.
The Seers inhabit a rocky wasteland that's highly rich in aura, the land marked and scarred with huge spires and a thick, salty mist bogging the air down wherever you go. Pilgrims make efforts to travel there from all across Astotiinak, with the most devoted of conductors in the high moors of Kaponvati going their with their companion mastbeasts to brave the thick, aura-laden air and to practice the nigh-impossible Art of moving an intent not in the absence of aura, but in the overabundance of it.
It is said that to bring a pure nakh object to the very center of the Seers formation is to commit it to the Seers forever.
