Fun pixel-art cave that took AGESSSS. >-< Cave layer is 'true' pixel art, sky was a different layer, and naturally I added glow after.

"Come on Chara! Just a little further. I know it's been awhile, but would you...really want to? Go back I mean...if you had the chance?" They pause, kicking a stone over the edge as it slides right down, hitting another on the way.

Chara rubs her neck, turning her head away as her eyes linger down from her brown shorts to the warm earth beneath her boots. Its amusing, how quickly the winds brushed away everyone's footsteps, in time leaves and fae-like, dew-laden moss left the nostalgic path alien to the pair.

"We're already back. Whole point of the trip remember, Frisk? Just...checking for stragglers and making sure everyone knows."

Turning her head back as she brushed away some nerves and left a lying grin across scarlet lips, their friend pouted and glared intensely.

"...You know what I mean. Do you feel like we missed something? Anything we could've done better."

Chara knelt down to curiously feel the moss, closing her eyes as if deep in thought, stroking it through her fingers in a way that left Frisk feeling an odd envy.

"We may've missed a ton of stuff. Remember that house deep into the Snowden forest? The Castle in Waterfall? Heck...if I wasn't so caught up with Asriel maybe things could've been wildly different for me. Never saw the inside of the lab when I fell."

Taking in a breath as she stood, Chara peeled off some moist moss and put it up to her face, taking a casual bite which prompts frisk to grab it and cross her arms.

"Don't eat random things you find!"

"Oh what, like candy in some catacombs?~ A scientists ramen, a quiche left under a bench-"

"You know my point. It's moss. -.-"

Sighing, Frisk turned their attention to the cavern and let Chara's words run through her mind; making peace with her concerns but not easing them.

As the two walked inside, Chara wrapped her arm around their shoulders and shrugged, their partner leaving the moss near Chara's mouth who took a casual bite of it and left her arm to linger down around Frisk's waist as she gulped it down.

"Just make the 'moss' of what we have, I'd hate to wipe the peaceful smile off y- off everyone's faces."

As the pair laugh along to her pun, a possible moss-addition on the way for at least one of them, they head off into the most familiar unknown; The Underground.
