Hello everyone! Today I will be showing you my OC Kai Azai. This Kai is in his new version in the future reboot series called Crystal Souls NT. As such, this version of Kai can be considered the Kai of the NT universe. More information will be revealed after the end of the Crystal Souls Main Series. 

History

Background

Kai Azai (Japanese: Azai Kai) is the main protagonist of the original saga, and also the supporting character of the prequel and sequel sagas. Based on the history of the Azai family, Kai is the younger brother of Io, Risako and Taeko Azai, the cousin of Nobutsuna, Jirokichi, Akitake, Kagetaka, Ruri, and Mayu Oda, the son of Shigemasa and Mio Azai, and the nephew of Norihide and Shion Oda. This version of Kai Azai is the main protagonist of the reboot series.

Appearance

Kai is a fairly muscular 17 year old. He has black hair, blue eyes, and wears black glasses.

Kai wears the male version of Tokyo High school uniform, only with his shirt unbuttoned by 1 button to reveal his red shirt, untucked, and his sleeves rolled up. He also wears an armband which shows the Kendo kanji meaning that Kai is the captain of the Kendo club. As a human, Kai mainly uses martial arts. He also uses a shinai only when he is in the Kendo club. When he becomes a Savior, Kai has a Savior brand (which is a cross symbol) on his left arm and he would grow angel wings. Kai wields a Savior katana named "Mystic Katana." Unlike his main series counterpart, Kai of the NT Universe rarely uses the Mystic Katana. Instead, Kai still uses martial arts regardless if he is a Savior or not. However, Kai can use magic as necessary through the use of his Crystal Soul. At some points, Kai would use his angel wings. 

Personality

Kai is a cheerful, upbeat and smart boy who lives in Tokyo. He is an otaku with a love for gaming and anime. He also has a fascination with American movies, tv series, comics, games, and animation. But, Kai has hostility against adult-rated content. When he is human, he is very sociable and kind to others to the point of defending them from bad people. But, when he becomes a Savior, Kai is in self-denial that he is a Savior rather than a human. However, after experiencing unexpected things, Kai accepts the fact that he is now a Savior and embraces his destiny as the Beacon of Hope. Despite retaining his usual personality, Kai becomes a calm and graceful person. He became wiser since he has his own morals of what is right and wrong in justification. He is also determined to protect his friends from evil. He also became serious when it comes to facing a battle. Furthermore, Kai doesn't let his feelings get in the way of his duties though he is flexible with various events. As a Savior, he became hard-working in his duties and more serious during battle. And finally, Kai no longer harbors hatred towards others regardless if they are good or evil. However, Kai can become strict and angry with those who cause trouble for him that he punish them. He also shows to be helpful and caring only to those who are not beyond salvation. He also has a tendency to break the fourth wall, such as speaking to the audience about something, making references to anime, movies, tv series, or games, and referencing memes.

Abilities

1. Normal Attacks - Whether as a Savior or a human, he uses martial arts on his enemies 1-8 times. Occasionally, he would use Mystic Katana (which he materializes) as his alternate way of fighting. Should he use an aerial attack, he would either do a drop kick or do a aerial slash with his Mystic Katana. He can also do block attacks.

2. Charge Attacks - He would use random weapons: katana, twin katanas, throwing kunai, twin kunai, naginata, yari, kusarigama, tessen, dual tessen, bo staff, shuriken, yumi bow and arrows, tanegashima, pistol, twin pistols, assault rifle, uzi, dual uzis, sniper rifle, shotgun, wand, javelin, whip, or magic staff. He would also use his angel wings to either attack enemies or fire feathers as projectiles. Should he use an aerial charge attack, he would do a punch to the ground or rapidly fire feathers.

3. Hyper Attacks - He would use the Mystic Katana to slash his enemies 1-8 times while flying.

4. Dash Attacks - He would grab an enemy and throw them at other enemies

5. Others - Can sidestep, teleport, block, air dash, and guard breaks. He also uses his angel wings to fly or float. He also can use Curaga, Esunada, or Arise.

Magic Attack(s) - With the use of the Crystal Soul, he casts 4 selected magic out of the following

1. Non-elemental magic (Ruin, Ruinga)

2. Fire magic (Fire, Fira, Firaga, Firaja)

3. Ice magic (Blizzard, Blizzara, Blizzaga, Blizzaja)

4. Lightning magic (Thunder, Thundera, Thundaga, Thundaja)

5. Water magic (Water, Watera, Waterga, Waterja)

6. Wind magic (Aero, Aerora, Aeroga, Aeroja)

7. Stone magic (Stone, Stonera, Stonega, Stoneja)

8. Light magic (Holy, Holyra, Holyga, Holyja)

9. Dark magic (Dark, Darkra, Darkga, Darkja)  

Unique Attack(s)

1. Normal Unique Attack - Imbues his fist with fire and punches his opponent in the face (in slow motion)

2. Charged Unique Attack - Puts on a smile but not before he did a barrage of punches

3. Aerial Unique Attack - Fires a volley of fire feathers from his wings while flying midair

4. Ultimate Unique Attack - Becomes flustered and slaps his enemy, making them fly towards other enemies.

Ultimate Attack(s)

1. Elemental Slash - After materializing his Mystic Katana, he conjures a slash attack, imbued with elements

2. Elemental Ring - Conjures a ring of fire imbued with elements before snapping his fingers which makes the ring explode within a wide radius

3. Elemental Angel Feathers - Imbues his wings with elements and spins around and flies up into the air while firing a barrage of feathers within a wide radius.

4. True Ultimate Attack - Reveals his angel wings before flying around attack enemies along the way. He then finishes it by materializing his Mystic Katana and thrusts it into a ground, generating a powerful shockwave. Upon extending his attack, he lets his Crystal Soul float before making it fire a barrage of elements while he materializes his Mystic Katana and did multitudes of slashes while flying around.
