This is one of my works-in-progress images for Draw With Jazza's Level Cap contest for May 2017. The theme is "Level Cap". Contestants are tasked with taking a familiar character from pop culture and dressing them up in such a way that they obviously look like they are at "Maximum Level". In other words, if they existed in an MMO, their weapons and armour would be the very best in the game.

I chose to use Spyro the Dragon as my character for this competition because I love dragons and I feel like he had a lot of potential for a competition like this. In fact, I feel like the next logical step for the Spyro franchise to take after first appearing in Skylanders was MMOs. The version of Spyro I am using is from Dawn of the Dragon, the third instalment in the Legend of Spyro series. My favourite Spyro game is a tie between Year of the Dragon (2000) and A Hero's Tail (2004).

I will submit further updates this week as I further develop this concept into something worth submitting to the contest. I hope to make it before Friday!
