So, this is the fallen spartan, Alexi of Antarra.
TLDR for his backstory, he's a warrior/knight sent to protect a small grassy cave-like area in hollownest near the route of greenpath. He is already long dead when you find him. Dream nailing his covered body will cause a boss fight to begin with only after being the means to find out more.
