This is a comic I made last year for a Batman fanbook called Unmask the Truth, and I'm finally able to share it publicly!

This back-and-forth monologue between Batman and Gordon was inspired in part by The Long Halloween (a comic I really love) and by Year One (a comic I don't really like). I tried playing around with quite a few textures and color palettes to give the pages a grimier look. I also designed a custom font for Batman's text, using his journal handwriting from the beginning of the film as reference. Went through a lot of revisions to make sure it was at least more readable than Batman's text in Year One. Drawing the Pattinson bat-suit design was really fun I wanna draw him again
