The most populous species of Tarnmara, Mages are always striving to learn everything they can. Not only to satisfy their own curiosity, but to appease the ones that gifted them their magical powers, the Amalgamations.
Mages are naturally born with a connection to the Amalgamations in the form of a Helminth. The Helminth resides on the Mage's neck, connected directly to the brain. This Helminth develops alongside the Mage as they grow, allowing the Mage to utilize Tempera Magic in exchange for the Mage's emotions.
