Self-Portrait as Laura Palmer from David Lynch and Mark Frost's Twin Peaks.
This was one of the big projects for my advanced figure drawing class. We had to paint of draw ourselves as a fictional or historical character; I chose to be Laura Palmer in the Black Lodge from Twin Peaks, one of my all time favorite shows (^-^)

Ah! Thank you so much!! (>w<)
Your talent is bleeding from the page what the heck this is so GOOD YR LOVELY
Ahh! Oh gosh you're too sweet! (>///<) Thank you so much!! (^w^) 💕
Awesome! It's so great to see traditionally created artwork on the front page. This is very well made, and I love that you can see the canvas texture when you zoom in. At first, due to the lighter tones, I assumed this was watercolor or perhaps mixed media. The shading (and formation) of the hands looks great, and I like which colors you chose to use as shading. The background and the glowing aura also tie a nice bow to this piece- keep it up!
Ah! Oh gosh oh gosh, thank you so much for your wonderful review and kind words! (>///<) It means a lot to hear how much you enjoy this painting as it was definitely a challenging piece for me (>o<) Getting the colors to look bright and neon-like with oil paint proved to be kinda hard haha. Thankfully, I was able to buy some different pigments that worked well that weren't too crazy expensive!
Thank you again for your lovely critique! I'll continue to do my very best! (^w^) 💕
