New here and migrating some of my recent stuff over from other sites. Made these two as part of a larger personal project during the April-May period to get myself out of an artistic slump and explore isometric multi-part mechs like I remember from Front Mission 1st (AC6 being announced also helped)

Vega draws some pretty obvious parallels to Omegamon, but also was looking at Virtual On and the Hazel series from Gundam when making it.

Frank's name comes from the idea that it's a 'franken-mech' i.e. made out of a hodge-podge of mismatched parts. Aesthetically influenced by Front Mission, Battletech and the machines from Nier:Automata (love those sphere headed dorks).

Prawn is pretty much my take on a guntank-like design, mixed with construction/industrial details and with the Blastmaster Jegan's colour scheme. Was originally nicknamed 'Baritone' but when it was finished Prawn seemed funnier.

Hopper is influenced by the many many insect mechs I've seen over the years, on top of some aesthetic details from Thorn (destiny gun) and 40k Necron canoptek stuff. But most of all, it's a blatant reference towards Drone Tactics which was one of the primary influences of the whole project and my art in general tbh.
