Having lost most of her family and her old home in Lotus Bay as a result of a former childhood friend of her’s selling her & her family out, a young Valerie & her grandfather, Sage, fled out of the sea and into Windflower Plains, which is where she spent several years learning ninjutsu in order to protect herself, Sage, and Felix, whom she befriended before being forced to flee. Valerie typically doesn’t trust strangers & is hesitant on making new friends, throughout this journey as a Floral Fighter, not only does she want to save her family from the persecution of the Red Vipers, but she wants to learn to trust other people again.
