Joseph can't move on from what he saw, in his past and his present. The guilt of living overwhelms him as he longs for the day he can be free of the spirits of Hourglass, and of his family's death, and finally die in peace. Yet no matter of how many times he tries to k*ll himself, he always comes back with more pain than the day prior. Still, he moves on, hoping that he can find answers as to why his family, and all in the orphanage were killed on that day, and when he gets those answers, his souls fire may finally blow away.
