The waters are cold where she wanders. With the tides of the moon does she grow....and though I did not know her so well, she was the gentle waves beneath my boards. The cold caress of the water upon my bow.

When the moon rises so full and bright, I am drawn to those waters once more. She is no omen, no siren....she is the promise of the ocean's comfort to me....and I can only pray I too can give her such comfort in return. Some way...no matter how small as I am.
