"Mere Puppets" - Jazza's COTM Nov.

"Who's the fool now?", smirked the jester as the figurines dangled from the strings. His eyes sparked in self-righteous victory. He knew he had won this war.
"You have always depicted me as an fool, a jerky jester, whose purpose it was to entertain others. Little did thou'st have known, about my true intentions. While thou'st been drinking and partying, by then I've spread already my threads across the country. Woven like a spider web. So I'll ask again. Who's the fool now?

My intention behind this drawing was to depict the true colours of the joker card. He is a shapeshifter and you will never know his intentions. Therefore it is the "surface" of my piece, covered up with a mask.

Program used: FireAlpaca

This is awesome! I love how you used the sharpness and blurriness of the lines to depict depth and give it a more of a 'popping out' kinda feeling...This is definitely one of the creepiest art pieces I have seen which don't directly use scary monsters or ghosts but it's just the fear of being present in such a situation that gives me the chills...for me, it depicts how sometimes, we are controlled by people who we may have trusted but in reality had a mask on, hiding their true intentions. Bravo!
