I like to think The Beast Pack took in Elfilin after him and Kirby saved Leon from the possession of Fecto Forgo. Especially because assuming that Leon and Carol retook their places as king and queen of the Animal Kingdom, I like to think they took in Elfilin as their adopted son so now he's a cute little prince. I'm sure they would've taken in Kirby too if they could, but he rightfully resides in Dreamland to protect his people. Elfilin is to Forgotten Land as Kirby is to Dreamland. Not to mention he also looks pretty animal-like.
