So this is part of an assignment for a history class about colonization. I wanted to tackle the religious aspect and went with the idea of the christians "eating away" at the indigenous population.

This drawing basically folds, when it is it shows the first impression the colonizers wanted to give of a welcoming God. But then you unfold it and see what really ended up happenning.

I really liked the end result so I thought of sharing it here.
