Whew! I did NOT expect this drawing to come out so well.

Yes, it's...rather small, but still, god DAMN am i happy with this one.

AND, this time around, i have basically the whole drawing process in a few screenshots to share!

So, here goes.

It started with this joke drawing i did for practice, but i really liked the expression and how the eyes were drawn so i decided to do something else with it.

I quickly did a bit of hair around the face and some detail near the eyes and removed the nose, eyebrows and that weird thing in the eye i don't know the name of from the previous image.

After that, i drew the actual head in, but i thought it looked like shit so i only kept the chin, i added the nose and facial hair in the meantime.

I added the eyebrows and started the hair by this point, nothing else of interest.

I thought the chin ALSO looked like shit and made the head look too small (even though in hindsight it was probably fine, but oh well.) so i changed it and made the chin that followed it rounder.

I had finished most of the hair by then too, but i thought it looked too small and flat.

The hair really started to take shape in this part, by now i was really really happy with the direction the drawing was going; I was expanding the hair until i got satisfied with it.

And there we have it! I expanded the hair on the other side, added the neck and signature, and we're done!

Until i realized i have glasses.

But that was it! After i added the glasses the drawing was done and exactly how you see it up there! I hope you liked it, because i sure do.

(I consider the version without glasses to be really good too, so i just kinda consider it as an alternate version, but still, the glasses version IS the definitive one...probably.)
