Amazing

No joke, this cartoon is my earliest TV memory! Unfortunately, the only episode I can vaguely remember is one where Beetlejuice eats something, inflates to like 400 times his size, then explodes in goo--you know, the "other" type of inflation that makes people uncomfortable and irritable.

...That explains so much about my corrupted mind these days, now that I think about it.

Also, @SolidSnakeOnAPlane, you really should watch the movie, it's a classic! It's the recent Broadway Play reboot that sounds a bit iffy (just like pretty much misguided industry reboot/remake, so no shock there).

Saw the cartoon before the movie as a kid.

Never seen the movie (nor do I really intend to) but I do have fond memories of watching the cartoon as a kid. In fact I knew about the cartoon before I knew it was based on a movie.
