A hastily made drawing exclusively made in MSpaint only using a mouse made as a tribute to the self imposed voice of Roy. Yes, I've improved so much since my last upload.

Anyway, I crossed a rather interesting individual, by the name of Vigilante Blade who attacked everyone one who criticized Melee and its many flaws. It stuck me as an interesting case as he mained Roy, a highly flawed clone of Marth. I found this odd because Roy mains know who they are, why, and least of all, Roy sucks. They're normally fun having easy going people. It would be easy to call him off as a troll but the more you looked at it, he was serious. Because of his ever growing ego, he would let it slip that he helped create the PM version of Roy, a horrible version of Roy that improved nothing over Melee Roy. I had an opinion on this because I mained Roy in Melee, Smash 4 and to a lesser extent Ultimate. Smash 4 Roy was how Roy should have been done, but Vigilante Blade's baby, PM Roy, was a diamond, never mind Roy's mediocre usage and results in PM and the fact he attempted to gut Roy to forcibly make him "good".

This pics inspiration came to be from an event, when I came to find out that Vigilante Blade found the Smash 4/Ultimate Roy discord. I was, highly amused at best. For the first time in his life he was in environment that did not carry his sediment. This man took poorly to criticism of anything he liked. He found that not many played PM and almost all felt Smash 4 Roy was an improvement over Melee Roy and many didn't like PM Roy or Vigilante Blade's theory on Roy and why Smash 4 Roy is bad. This week of ego busting permanently bruised Vigilante Blade as he would distance himself towards Roy and defending his image of right and wrong. He changed his icon off Roy to what I think is another Fire Emblem character, not sure, looks Christian to me. He also stopped ruthlessly attacking people when he saw a comment that clashed with his world views, about videos games.

Outside his name, Vigilante Blade retired his "Roy" persona, less content to talk about his views on Smash Bros and Roy in general. Vigilante Blade still has the spark though, but its muted most the time. He'll gladly link to you a website talking about the injustice Nintendo has done to his people, all 100 of them, and how he won't support them trying to drum up support or something. But hes aware, aware enough now that his views are not popular or well received. He would never recover from that fated week on the Roy discord. I do miss his endless comment chains and ultimately blocking people. It was not only entertaining, but also interesting to see someone who was so warped from an eco chamber released into the world, unready for the harsh reality of the greater internet.
