I've watched Eskimo Bob on Newgrounds back in the early last decade ago. Even though it had a bad start it improves as the episodes progresses.

The Kickstarter to reboot the series have failed after the creators recieved less fundings in order to complete it's goal and not only that I feel very sad to hear about it but I have never donate to Kickstarter before with limited budget.
Even though the reboot is kind of interesting and I say that the original is superior.

Made mostly in GIMP using base and shadow color palette, scanlines with overlay and linart characters from paint.

I will be starting to go to college soon so I will upload a single art during the weekends.

influenced by megaman zelda aaaand. . kid icarus maybe?

ScepterDPinoy responds:

Thanks for the comment. How does this mockup influenced zelda? I think it would be it inspired by the 2-D side scrolling segment of Zelda 2 for the Nes.

Thanks. I feel like making another fanart for existing games. I'll probably do it tomorrow.

This art is amazing. It's even more amazing that you have two submissions on the front page at the same time.

ScepterDPinoy responds:

I didn't expect my art to be featured yet I still make art for fun and unique in quality. Thanks for the comment anyways.

Most excellent

Damn, I hadn't even caught whiff of that Kickstarter (hence unsuccessful). I don't know why they need $8,000 to make a 10-minute cartoon, but whatever.

Anyway, this looks really neat-o. Very good job capturing the 16-bit (or 32?) look. Everything is simple and works well. The lives heads could have been a bit bigger, though, cos it looks like you need to search for them. Nice job on Bob's highlights while firing the fish. Alfonso could have used some dramatic lighting/shading akin to Dragon Ball Z during his super saiyan form there. Also a smoke effect from the ground where the laser hits. That's all I can think of. Good job and long live Eskimo Bob.
