Simple yet a heartfelt tribute.
Sitting in a field amongst the graves of my dead or lost cats, holding on to my indoor cat Simba.
I got him because all of our outdoor cats died or just disappeared, year after year new kittens were born and died, and it would and still will tear me up inside. But then we got Simba, and he fills me with love and lightens up my days as he also represents all of my lost cats that live through him.
It is important to notice, that all of the small paws on the graves light up like Simba, because even though they now are gone and have made me sad and distressed, they still in their short lives marked me and filled me with love and I will look back at them like that and remember the small furballs with joy.
Now I can peal of the sad blue leaves of my flower and let the light shine from this new sprout, remembering the love from my lost cats, not letting sadness taint me.
