I was kind of debating with myself on posting or not today after the news of Toriyama passing.

If I'll say that I am "one of his biggest fan" it would be a lie. I watch part of the anime his manga inspired but never finishing them fully. I played a couple of the Dragon quest games, where I saw of his passion come out with fun and interesting design, even if some where just ok. But even so, I cannot think of Toriyama without thinking of what he left on the study of comics and media in general.

Even one of my comic's professor, not likeing manga, teached us how to draw action scenes by using Toriyama as not only an exemple, but as one the BEST exemple at what to do.

So yeah, ignoring his death and posting as usual a random fanart would have felt wrong.

On the other hand, posting something about him, without following him that much also feels wrong, and I REALLY don't want to seem like someone that was trying to exploit the death of a person. That is not my objective.

So I want to be clear that this post is only to show my respect to someone that I knewed for the most part only as one of the more influental artists in the world, and I can't just ignore it.

Maybe I wasn't an enourmous Toriyama fans, but I nontheless feel that is something less in the art world now.

So let's do our best to try to remember him as the artist he was keeping him alive in our memories.

I really hope that no one will exploit this situation, that is my most strong emotion I feel right now.
