Summonin' Trouble

Imagine my upmost HORROR when I discovered an early Citizen Summon could 1-shot any boss.

So I recently bought and completed the game Citizens of Space; a sequel of sorts to one of my favorite games: Citizens of Earth. Wont give ya a full review here, but it was charming and fun, though it had a few faults here and there...especially with how easy you can break the game.

Case and point: The Pizza Bot.

This particular citizen can be recruited REALLY early in the adventure and adding him in gives you access to his Summon. While it takes all the of yer bar to use, his effects are no slouch. One detail I forgot to mention is this game is an RPG that borrows some combat aspects from games like the Mario RPG games; you play small minigames in-between moves to execute them and have them be more effective and what not.

His is a roulette wheel with a 1 out of 6 chance to do a specific effect. Missing makes you do decent damage and everything else is good...but you in your hands have a 1 out of 6 chance of OHKO'ing ALL foes on the field...and this extends to bosses.

I discovered the detail with a certain boss who had multiple areas to attack and could heal himself and then put it to the test every time after. No boss is immune, even the final boss. the only reason I couldnt exactly one-shot em was because it had multiple forms and had cutscenes in-between each phase.

It aint delivery, its destruction.

I saw this and thought, "Holy shit! Is that fan art of Citizens of Space?!"

I never used The Pizza Bot. I used Decorator on the final boss though and didn't get all the forms added to my collection. She hits like a truck. Then again, I would have been surprised if she didn't.

Excellent work, by the way. You really captured the look of joy on his unchanging face. His design also looks like something I'd see on TJ&E, so I'm being favorably biased about my score.
