A piece inspired by an ANCIENT sketch that I wanted to bring back to life with all my new stuff I've learned throughout the years. Here's the sketch if you are curious.

Honestly, feels good to go through those old drawings and sketches and give them a proper look. For one, my expression and pose-work are BETTER than 8 years ago and boy, the color and background sell it. Also, replced the out-of-place Pikmin for a Piranha Sprout, which is more in-theme to the Mario universe.
