No I dislike the remake idea you pose. The design is good but don’t get rid of my boy shark man! But are the pawn men good? Hard to say 5/10.

The Pawn Men are designed to be battle strategist robots. Each one is supposed to cover their weaknesses, but they also share a consciousness and often bicker as a result. If I ever decide to make a DOS remaster, they will be completely original. Shark, Oil, and Wave would be scrapped in my remaster, so they would fill in one of the empty slots together.
Their Master Weapon, the Double Pawn, allows them to perform skillful two-pronged attacks. Mega Man can fire two shots at once with the Double Pawn - one will bounce off floors and walls, while the other will orbit around Mega Man, absorbing damage. The latter bullet can be fired off as a projectile if it hasn't already been destroyed.
