Some people said that I used more than one color for this artwork! That's not fact and definately NOT true! I used ONE single orangetone and just changed the saturation. NO colormixing, NO changed of the hue, just the brightness was changed in some parts! Over white it looks different as over bLack or grey! So I please you, don't say it's against the rules or I used more hues in this artwork! I know what I did and that is all I can say!Thank you!

This is my finished entry for the #COTMFEAR contest! It's my first attempt on this contest.
It is a mixed media image, I did a tradtional pencil artwork and did the finishing touches like adding the color in photoshop. I have chosen a bright and strong reddish orange for the one additional color. I don't wanted it to be red alone because red for me is more an aggressive than frightening color. Orange has more a mystical character and for me there is more old, deep fear in this color.
So I hope you like my work, for me it was a lot of fun to do! ^^

Nice piece but you used both reds oranges and hues in between, you can only use one hue of colour.
You are aloud to lighten and darken that colour ONLY cannot mix colours or adjust hue for it to be acceptable for the COTM Theme.

RLIllustration responds:

That's not true! I just used ONE orangetone! It's layed over the greyscale drawing so there it becomes lighter and darker in some parts! I didn't mix any other hue of this orangetone in this drawing!

Changing hue is changing color. The rules clearly state that the user may not change the hue, you may only change the saturation and the brightness... sorry bro.

RLIllustration responds:

Sorry, my english is not the best. I really dont changed the color on it's own... Than it wasn't the hue just the saturation. How can I proof that I used just one single color? I would do that, believe me! If I changed the saturation over black and white the color changes in this parts automatically. Even the pressure of the pen changes it in the parts where the greyscale parts lay down under. I hope you understand my bad english and what I try to say...

good piece , but you used 2 colours,,, you are only aloud one hue

RLIllustration responds:

No sorry, I used one single color! It's one orange tone in different brightness and saturation. Will post the hexcode tomorrow from my pc. ;) absolutely NO other color used in this work! sorry for using the word 'hue'. Im not a native english speaker and switched the words! ^^' Really no other color in this picture than my orange...
