That’s different! I like it! :O ^_^
Edmund Blacksnake was a member of a powerful merchant guild from island of Absalom. During one trip on sea, he had a vision from a goddess of war who promised him vast wealth if he traveled to one mysterious island and fought there.
On the island he joined the Independent Reclamation Association (IRA), a gang of drug dealers who took over a crack den and built a restaurant in it's place as a front. With blood sports arena in the center of it.
This great image of Edmund is by Karlis, showing him during these joyful simple days, where adventure and money was plentiful.
And here in art by Illumina is Edmund doing his second favorite thing: studying dark occult things.
When an orc horde invaded the island, it was the IRA that stopped them. Edmund stroke a blow to their morale by rendering all the orc males sterile, using his knowledge of the forbidden rituals.
He was also part of a terrifying battle against a tarrasque chicken. It was soon clear that there was other factions on island doing shady stuff. IRA couldn't allow not to be on top.
As events and plots on island unfolded, the gang found itself fighting a cult of demon worshiping pedophiles.
Battle went awry and they were sent to a different plane, chase by phantoms of their slain foes.
Eventually, they were trapped in this cursed realm, as the results of the battle dragged them and the island into it altogether.
With much luck, time and occult bargaining, Edmund pulled his ass out of this prison and into the City of Seven Seraphs. There he hooked up with new people and managed to find an orc girlfriend.
Legends say he would go off to find a kingdom of his own, but that - is a tale for another time!
