Some time ago I redesigned some Touhou characters into dragons. Now I've done it again. Besides, it's Smaugust now (which I miss year after year, damn), so I'll at least mark it with this artwork.
With this, I also tried to chill out a little, moving away from the usual perfectionism and overabundance of details. ...But in fact, keeping it simple was more difficult. Maybe it's also because drawing noodle dragons feels like stepping out of my comfort zone, hah. They are just not my cup of tea... Which is strange, because as a child I loved to draw oriental ones the most. Welp, times change...
In general, I wanted to draw a lot more of this Touhou dragon theme, but I can't do everything at once... There are many things and ideas, for the implementation of which I don't have enough life resources. 〠_〠 So I do it... little by little.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this sorta Japanese-style piece.
If you support me on ko-fi, I'll show you 10 step-by-step photos of drawing this dragon.
