Today, I have uncovered something spectacular… I have devised a machine whose schematics came to me in a dream, peculiarly enough. It is a device that I hope will allow me to control the aging process, though the exact nature of such realms still elude me. Personally, I had hoped to use the machine to repair my…thinning scalp, but it appears I have recently uncovered what I believe to be a breakthrough. Upon using a stray cat as a test subject, I have found that the creature was able to split into two different states of being. One being alive and the other being dead. I found this curious, as I assumed the machine’s initial function was something akin to reverse aging, but this I found to be much more fascinating. I plan to make an extension to the device, but first I wish to make a memento in case anything is to go awry. Despite my morbid interest in the project, I am still uncertain as to what effects my creation could have on the Wegaian mind, so it’s best to take precaution. I am1ufke

I’ve seen it. 

I’ve seen all of it. 

It is a sight that I find hard to put into proper words, but it can only be something described as “immaculate”. This machine does not simply control aging, but rather it is something that allows one to travel to worlds unseen. Not simply through time, that would not begin to describe it, but every sequence of existence itself. The what has, and what will. The what hasn’t and what could! Every possibility is laid bare for me, as if it were a televised program on a view screen. There is only one place to go. I have to go inside. I must journey these temporal waters and brave its many violent surges. Perhaps there could be a world where everything I’ve worked so hard to achieve, is made manifest! A world where I am heralded as the brilliant mind that I am, a world where there are none to stand in the way of progress, a world where Oscurita, beloved by the scientific community, takes notice of my talents! Yes, it would be glorious indeed. This is something that no one can truly comprehend the breadth of. Something only a mind as brilliant as mine is capable of fully understanding. Something even the beloved mayor, Oscurita, has never fully taken notice of. I must see through this. I must see the bottom

Breaking News: Chemistry Gone Mad?  

Reports speak of a bizarre incident that occurred within one of the Bottom Layer’s districts. The laboratory of a notable figure of Bottom Layer’s Science Committee, Dr. Hughie Hubaal, has been reported to have suddenly caught fire. Investigators suspect it to have been the work of vandals, but some say that something else might be going on here. Dr. Huebaal was said to be missing and nowhere to be seen during the investigation. Some investigators have found that some pieces of the building including furniture have been either mysteriously fused, duplicated, or have even gone missing. We are not sure as to what to make of these happenings, but we have interviewed one of the investigators who was at the scene to see if we can get a second opinion. 

Investigator Lewis Campbell had this to say,

“Thing is…I’m not entirely sure what happened. Dr. Huebaal wasn’t exactly the most “sane” individual. In fact, we’d even gotten some reports regarding him, but those never went anywhere. It’s not surprising, though. You get a lot of weirdos in the science community here… I feel like more odd characters have shown up since the current mayor entered office and began giving donations. I-I’m not claiming to be against science, uh of course…just stating what I’ve seen. We’d only gotten to the scene after the incident happened. One of the neighbors noticed a fire at the laboratory, and we went to check it out. Nothing salvageable was there, aside from some weird mangled furniture and architecture. I don’t know what he was doing in there, but I get a bad feeling….he found exactly what he wanted” 

That’s about all we could get in regard to the interview. Whatever might’ve caused this still remains a mystery, but the results clearly send a chill down the spines of those who listen. Some would even liken it to a ghost tale or urban legend. Brrr… The investigations are still ongoing, and know that we plan to provide updates as new information comes out.
