Kara Purdey hails from a small town of halflings but was raised at her grandparent's farm. Kara grew up in a big family consisting of 11 siblings, her mom, and her grandparents. At the age of 10, she took the job of "the hardest working in the family"; she did most of the toil on the farm as well as helping around the town.In her spare time, Kara often sings to herself just as a means of relief.
At 18 y/o, she moves to a city to find a career and help raise money for the farm, even though her family is left in sorrow for her departure. It is not until she reaches the age of 21 that her musical talents are recognized and eventually made public. Over the years Kara becomes a singer/ actor; usually pertaining genres consisting of Vocal Jazz, Blues, Swing Music, Bebop, etc. After nearly a decade of singing and acting Kara decides to end her career as she has given her farm more than enough money and increased morale in the city overall. Kara sees her singing/acting career not as short but complete.
After her career, Kara goes out and performs for other small towns and villages, including her own from time to time. but one day she finds one town that seems peculiar. Her investigations of the city lead her to find out that is place is full of people trying to figure out the origins of a "Black Fog". She joins this team as she wants to find out as well what the Black Fog because the description seems familiar.
