Janna begins her ritual to summon the prince of the underworld that she has chosen the spookiest but easiest access areas that she thinks of, her basement. BTW If you guys are wondering what she's saying for the rituals, here's the translation.

Janna: I summon forth the darkest power to grant my wish at my expense,
I offer my soul to the dark lord Prince, so that he can grant my last request.
