Decided to make myself a new goal: Draw all the Mario girls in chronological order. ^^

Second gal: Princess Peach Toadstool; the current damsel-in-distress that debuted in the original Super Mario Bros game for the NES in 1985. ^^

Like Pauline, I know people have mixed feelings on Peach. People either love her for being kind, passionate, and generous, yet others hate her for doing nothing except get kidnapped, be saved by Mario, and all that wash, rinse, and repeat cycle. Sure, it can get annoying, but personal, I think that's basically how the games work that way. Plus, we have seen Peach outside of the damsel-in-distress role at times. (i.e. Super Princess Peach, Super Mario 3D World, etc...) Hell, even when kidnapped, she will at least try to send Mario clues or even try to escape herself (i.e. Super Mario 3D Land).

In my personal opinion, I'd never was bothered by Peach and I honestly thank her along with Daisy as well as the Disney Princesses for helping me discover my love and aesthetics for all things Princess-like.

Also, it's also been 35 years since her first appearance so Happy Birthday Peach! ^^
